Asset Description:
| Digital multi-process welding system manufactured by Merkle Schweißanlagen-Technik GmbH, type HighPULSE 450 DW. According to the rating plate: welding current range in the MIG/MAG process from 20 A / 15 V to 450 A / 36.5 V. Performance data at 40 °C ambient temperature: 450 A at 50% duty cycle, 400 A at 60% duty cycle and 330 A at 100% duty cycle. Power supply 400 V (3~ / 50–60 Hz), maximum rated apparent power $S_1$ 24.9 kVA, protection class IP 23. Mobile version on wheels with separate, mobile wire feeder unit. The system supports the welding processes MIG/MAG, pulse, interpulse (for TIG-like weld appearance), electrode and TIG. Equipment includes water cooling (cooling type AF), digital parameter display, synergic control and job memory.
