General Information
- Auction Preview until 25th of September 2024
- Auction Opening: 25th of September 2024 until 6 PM CET
- Auction Closing: 9th of October from 9AM CET
- Proforma Invoices emailed to successful bidders by 10th of October 2024
- Payment due upon Receipt of Proforma
- Production Stop at Magna: 31st of October 2024
- Start of Machinery Preparation and Dismantling:4th of November 2024
- Start of Goods Issue to Buyers from 18th of November 24 (conditional)
- Last Date to Pick up Equipment by December 31st 2024

Removal and Collection/Pickup Information:
The Machinery and Equipment is gradually be prepared for dismantling (rough cleaning, putting into transport position, transport safety, Media removal etc.). After the Production has ended, the Dismantling Process will start accordingly. The Dismantling Company will contact all buyers about the availability of their pickup ready Lots as soon as possible witha reasonable specified time window for collection. The last date to pick-up the equipment is the 31st of December 2024 (conditional, subjected to the schedule of the Maynards/Dismantling Company).
All Assets must be picked up during the mentioned period and only by prior appointment with the Dismantling Company. If a pickup schedule is not met or missed, due to non-compliance with collection appointments/dates agreed between the buyer and the dismantling company, or the last date for removal (31st of December 2024) will be missed, Maynards and/or the dismantling company reserves the right move/use the assets and to charge the buyer for any resulting costs.
All Assets become sold EXW (Incoterms 2020), As is where is, ex location with binding fee and service for the dismantling and loading on truck by a preselected third-party Handling, Dismantling and Loading Supplier. It is required to have the Handling, Dismantling & Loading executed by this Supplier. Maynards, in order and in the name of the Dismantling Supplier, charges a binding fee for a standard dismantling, handling, and loading service (on Truck only, not into Container) that will be carried out for each asset. All matters relating to collections/dismantling etc. should be clarified directly between the buyer and the dismantling company. The fee incurred for the respective Lots are published with the Auction Opening as part of the Lot Description. The pickup is only valid, by truck (Standard, Heavy duty or oversize if required- that will be specified by the dismantling company). A pickup by Car, Tractor or other vehicles is not allowed (only in special cases, subjected to approval). The Fee includes the dismantling, handling, and loading for a safe transport on Truck (not Container or other). Special/Seaworthy packaging or transport is not included. If any Transport safety tools/fixtures of the OEM is required for a proper Transport Safety, those must be requested and delivered in order of the buyer in coordination with the Dismantling Supplier. Please inform yourself about any necessities with the OEM of Equipment.
Important:
Please note that depending on the final destination of the goods, purchased machines and systems are subject to an export license requirement and that an export license and/or permit may have to be obtained for this. This can result in the goods having to be picked up by the customer and, if necessary, temporarily stored at another location provided by the customer or third party until this export license and/or permit is available. All resulting costs and liabilities are to be borne by the buyer. Buyer agrees to ensure the effective completion any necessary customs procedures and formalities in order to facilitate the required export any purchased equipment and shall provide any information and written confirmations as may be reasonably requested from Maynard.

Payment and Invoicing Structure:
All Invoices will be issued in the Name and on behalf of the Magna Powertrain Germany GmbH, Zaascher Str. 12, 06809 Sandersdorf-Brehna, Germany
For making Payment, the Buyer receives a Proforma Invoice. After the Payment has been received, the Buyer receives a Final Invoice and a Collection Note. The FULL payment must be done immediately after the invoice has been received. In case of missing the payment terms, Maynards reserves the right to sell the awarded Lots otherwise and to claim compensation in case of an economic damage.
In case of a purchase either by prior Sale or Auction Winning Bid, the invoice amount contains the following values:
Asset Net
Buyer’s Premium (18% of the Asset Net Value)
VAT or Export Deposit (according to the applicable German VAT Rate)
Fee for Handling, Dismantling and Loading
Example:
Asset Net = 1.000€
Buyer’s Premium (18%) = 180€
VAT (19% - applies for Buyers Premium and Asset Net, only for German Buyers) = 212,40€
or Export Deposit (19% applies for Asset Net, only for foreign Buyers) = 190€
Fee for Handling, Dismantling and Loading = 100€
Total Invoice Amount = 1.492,40€ (German Buyers) / 1.470€ (Foreign Buyers)
The Export Deposit will be refunded after receipt of the complete and valid export documents.
