Description
The machine is a CNC - controlled machine for mechanical scribing of thin - film solar cells. The mechanical scoring heads move over the CIS (copper-indium-sulfide) coated glass pane and create an insulating track by removing material.
The Impala Scriber System is designed for mechanical scribing of thin-film solar cells. Scoring needles are used as tools and are guided over the workpiece by means of CNC-controlled linear motors. The CNC control controls the movement of the X, Y, Z, A, B and U axes.
